I Say Facebook is the Devil But...

So, I finally made a Facebook fan page for the best of the EJB files...

Scroll down and look to the right and make sure to "like" the new EJB FB page. Post up new names, comments and spread the word

Aquaman Better Call Maury

A friend of mine posted this on FB today:

"Waiting in line at BOA... I hear a girl scream at her son, "Sit down Aquariante!" Why couldn't I think of a name that creative??"

*backs away very slowly* *blank stare and all that*

What's Next? Cinnamon Roll?

Pulled from a friend of mine's Facebook status:

"WOW...just met a lady that actually named her baby Bunbun. She said she named him that because he was cute at birth."
Epic FAIL. Parenting license REVOKED.

And I Quote...

Posted on FB by a friend of mine. Both of her daughters are having babies.

"Dear fb, she really likes the name jakyra but monte the 2nd it will be."

The other child is to be named Timmiyyah (which I think is pronounced like Tamia).

(yes E darling I am putting you on blast. Still love you though! Muah)

Facebook vs Batman

Yet another reason why you should watch what you name your kids...

Most of us who are tech savvy use some sort of social networking site to keep up with people. Well if you have an, ahem, unusual name you can forget being "social" at least on Facebook, without a fight.

According to a recent article in the Washington Post people who are stuck with funky first and/or last names such as Batman or Yoda have had their accounts rejected by Facebook. Apparently certain names are flagged so that spammers can't make up FB pages.

Facebook is not intuitive? Go figure!
